For added durability, our electric brakes have been redesigned with a new long life magnet. 
We've also developed a new "Extra Long" 12 axle that can be ordered in hub face lengths up to 98" to fit specialty applications. 
To Further differentiate us from our competition, our 12k axles use the same #160 spindle and bearing set as our 16K axles.

Axle Specs:

Axle tube: 
 Made of high quality 5" x 5-16"" diameter tubing swedged down to fit the #160 spindle 
hubs: 
Two piece hub and drum, available in 8 on 6.50" bolt pattern with 5/8" pressed in studs
Different hub designs available for the flat faced wheel or the coined in/out dual wheel
Spindles:
#160 spindle, 2-5/8" inner bearing journal dimension and a 2" outer bearing journal dimension, welded into tube and plug-welded
Brakes:
Auto Adjusting electric 12-1/4" x 5"
Springs:
2-1/2" wide, 6 leaf slipper spring - rated at 6,000 lbs. per spring
Rubber bushing encased in a steel sleeve
Hanger kits:
Heavy duty 2 1/2" hanger kit with 3/4" eye bolt and 1" equalizer bolt
